A graduate of Falfurrias High School and Texas A&M University Kingsville, Marta Salazar has worked in education since 1996. She has been a high school English and geography teacher, cheer sponsor, and a volleyball and track coach. Her 15 years of administration experience entails: higher education, federal programs, curriculum & instruction, family engagement, RLA director, dean of instruction and campus principal. Mrs. Salazar believes that teachers and administrators must build strong relationships with their students before any true learning can occur. 

Mrs. Salazar feels blessed to serve the community of Orange Grove where she resides with her husband of 32 years. They have three children all of whom graduated from OGHS, and they have two amazing grandchildren. Mrs. Salazar is proud to be an OG BULLDOG!
