In accordance with Federal law and the U.S. Department of Agriculture
(USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, this institution is prohibited

any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter
addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name,
address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged
discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Office of the
Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (OASCR) about the nature and
date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form
or letter must be submitted to USDA by:

As established by the Board Policy CO, a student with an exhausted or insufficient balance on his or her meal card or meal account shall be allowed to continue to purchase meals for up to a total of $7. The Superintendent shall develop administrative regulations for this grace period to address:
- The District's processes for parent notification during the grace period, including a schedule for repayment; and
- Whether the student will be limited to certain foods or beverages during this grace period, and, if so, the District's efforts to minimize overt identification of the student.
No fees or interest shall be charged by the District for meals purchased during the grace period.
