Orange Grove FFA Helping Students with Cancer

Tommy Bounds founder of Teed off at Cancer brought this project to OGFFA's attention. He saw children at another cancer hospital out of state using these "lily pads" to ride on their I.V. poles, and asked if anyone knew of an Ag Chapter that would build these so that children at the Children's Hospital of San Antonio could have some of the Lily Pads. We at Orange Grove FFA discussed the idea and thought we could start such a project. Thank you to Klatt Hardware & Lumber for donating the Birch Plywood that helped us get started. We have many students who will be participating with the cutting out, design, and painting of the project. We hope to have some ready for delivery next week!!

OGISD has an app!!

The School Way mobile app is a secure and flexible communication platform that allows the district to easily manage, control and deliver content that enhances the school-to-community communications process.
