The Orange Grove ISD Health Service Department believes that the ability for
students to learn is directly associated with their health and well-being. Physical
and mental health is essential for every child’s educational development and
achievement. Students with unmet health needs will have difficulty engaging
during instructional time. We want students to grow physically, mentally and
academically while at OGISD. There is a nurse located on each campus to
promote optimal health for all students and staff. Each nurse works directly with
school personnel and families to promote a healthy school environment for all
